Food for Thought



Serving Jackson County Schools



Food for Thought is a coalition of the Food Backpack programs throughout Jackson County, Alabama. Nourish One Child partners with Food for Thought and other community partners including, Jackson County Legislative Delegation, Mountain Lakes Chamber of Commerce and IMPACT Learning Center, to raise funds to help the county's area backpack programs.

Schools Served



The Food for Thought program is a backpack program to help kids in 17 Jackson County schools.



Number of Kids



During the 2020-21 school year, nearly 1,000 kids were served through the Food for Thought coalition in Jackson County.
